Frequently known as the "Corn on the cob" towers, the building houses many condominiums, retail, a hotel, and The House of Blues Nightclub. Designed by noted Chicago architect Bertrand Goldberg, the two towers were designed in 1959 (by architect Bertrand Goldberg ) and completed in 1964 at a cost of $36 million.
